The Adidas Sundown Marathon was a gruelling race indeed - Participants were pushed to the limits mentally, being deprieved of sleep, as well as physically, due to the changing terrain from asphalt to packed concrete to gravel, plus the requirement to navigate the multiple overhead bridges along the route that employ the use of different muscle groups! >_<
The last leg of the race was pure torture, with multiple uphills before the dash to the finishing line~ x_x
They say that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going - Congrats to all Marathon Heros who completed the race! ^^

The front of the medal is nice and sleek...
The rear of the medal features the iconic Changi Airport control tower, which was in sight for 15 KM or so for the first leg of the race, named "String of Lights", which stretched from Changi Point to ECP.
